We are local. All agencies supported by United Way of Lancaster  provide services to people who live and work in our community.

 

98% of your contribution stays in Lancaster County, helping people here in our community. 

88% of your contribution is directed to programs that touch you, your family, your friends and your co-workers.

We are independent of all other United Ways, “locally owned and operated!”

      One of our main strengths is that our Board of Directors is a local board consisting of people from a diverse industrial and demographic base who all have a vested interest in making Lancaster County a better place for all of us to live.  

      Funding received during the campaign is allocated by a volunteer allocations committee, which studies funding requests to determine where dollars are needed and can do the most good.
