What is Give Local Lancaster?

Give Local Lancaster celebrates the missions of our local nonprofit organizations.

Give Local America has arrived in the Lancaster area! On
May 3, 2016our community is participating in a national day of local giving.

Give Local America made history by raising over $121 million for thousands of nonprofit organizations since its inception in 2014.  Let's make history in the Lancaster area and be part of this national philanthropic movement!

Give Local Lancaster
is a 24-hour (May 3rd) on-line giving event designed to empower individuals to donate to causes that matter to them through local nonprofit organizations who are tackling today's most critical issues.

With your generous donation to the United Way of Lancaster County, we will be able to:

- Purchase books for our Operation RED Reading Program this is held at Brooklyn Springs Elementary School. This program helps children that are not on grade reading level.
- Purchase items for our Community Garden. This garden produces enough produce each year to feed 1,200 individuals at no cost to gardeners.
- Help enhance various programs throughout the County that helps to ensure that HEALTH, EDUCATION AND INCOME have a focus for a better quality of life.
