Community Investment Panel (CIP)

The time to volunteer for United Way of Lancaster County's Community Investment Panels has arrived!
Have you ever wondered who decides how the United Way spends its money? As a community driven organization, those decisions are made by people like YOU.
Community Investment Panels review the non-profit agencies that have applied to UWLC for funding and make recommendations to the board of directors. This is a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with Lancaster's non-profit community and learn about the resources available to those in need. Panel members will have the opportunity to tour their assigned agency and hear directly from staff about organizational operations and how they impact the community. Panel members will work as a team to develop investment recommendations for 2020-2021. The total time commitment is approximately 10-15 hours from March through May
Interested volunteers will need to complete a brief application which can be found HERE. Completed applications may be turned in to the office (at 109 S. Wylie St.) or emailed to
