Community Garden

The Lancaster County Community Garden is a community impact project, a partnership between United Way and Lancaster County Parks and Recreation.  The garden is located near the Lancaster Parks and Recreation Department on 260 Plantation Road.  Garden sites are provided free for participants to grow their own produce.  Free seeds and plants are also provided for participants.

This initiative allows a place for people of all ages to garden - those that may not have the yard to do so at their home or for those who enjoy gardening with other people. Our garden members donate excess produce to the local food banks and other agencies that can distribute it to people in need.
