Prescription Assistance Programs

United Way of Lancaster County knows that helping people avoid financial crises and maintain good health improves quality of life for all. We also know that one unanticipated expense on medical care could put a large stress on the family budget.

We partner with three prescription discount programs to help our local families save money on those unexpected costs.

FamilyWize

FamilyWize partners with nearly all pharmacies nationwide to negotiate prescription discounts, so you receive a lower price. FamilyWize understands you're looking to reduce the cost of your prescription medications, and their goal is to help you do that. Their pharmacy discount card is for everyone nationwide, whether or not you have health insurance coverage. That's right! You are eligible to begin saving on your prescription medications today. To access a free card, visit www.familywize.org or pick one up at our United Way office.

Coast2Coast

Coast2CoastRx Card is a free prescription coupon card provided by community governments. Cardholders save on both brand name and generic drugs. Coast2CoastRx cardholders and their entire families can also benefit from the savings provided through our other discount programs.  For more information, visit. www.coast2coastrx.com
