United Way of Lancaster County (UWLC) will hold its Annual Day of Caring on Friday, April 7, 2017.  Day of Caring offers businesses, individuals, organizations and civic clubs the opportunity to help local nonprofit human service agencies accomplish much-needed projects during one day of organized volunteerism. If you can’t volunteer on April 7th, but still want to be involved, call us; we’ll get your group involved.

Volunteer work teams who are interested in participating should contact the United Way of Lancaster County office or visit our FB page for a current list of available projects.  The list of available projects will be made available on March 21st.   Groups helping to complete projects are only required to provide personal items and labor.  The individual that requested the project should supply all materials needed.  You must contact the UWLC office to confirm the adoption of the project of your choice.  Projects range from paining, cutting grass, washing windows, raking leaves, etc.
