Community Impact Panel

We believe in comprehensive solutions to combat our county's

most pressing issues.

Have you ever wondered who decides how the United Way spends its money? As a community driven organization, those decisions are made by people like YOU.

Each year during our funding cycle, local nonprofit agencies can apply for funding to help us reach a common goal of bettering our communities.  Every program funded by our United Way is monitored, evaluated and measured for effectiveness. In this way, United Way validates that investments get results and make a difference where it matters most. Click here to see a list of our currently funded partners.

United Way relies on volunteers to support the funding process.  The Community Impact Panels consists of our Board of Directors and community members.  Panel members tour and review United Way partner agency programs throughout the county and work closely as a team to develop investment recommendations for funding.

Funding is made possible through the generous gifts from donors who give through workplace campaigns or make individual gifts.  Learn more about making a gift to United Way or organizing a workplace campaign at your company.
